Canadian Golf - The Golf Tour Of Your Imagination to the Canadian Golf of Canada

Canadian Golf partners with the Fairmont Hotel Group in Western Canada!

Canadian Golf is pleased to announce an association with the premier hotel group in beautiful Western Canada, Fairmont Hotels.  Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria is without question the most famous and the finest hotel on Vancouver Island, renowned for its “British/Canadian” flair (especially afternoon tea!), located on the main promenade along the beautiful harbor.  In Whistler, Fairmont offers the Chateau Whistler Resort in the upscale “Village North,” at the base of Blackcomb Mountain.  A world-class spa and one of the world’s finest mountain golf courses are on offer here.

In Banff, there is no better place to stay than the magnificent Fairmont Banff Spring Hotel, one of the most recognizable sights in North America, a virtual castle rising from the valley between the peaks and alongside the Bow River.  Farther north in Alberta, Fairmont’s Jasper Park Lodge offers an equally memorable experience and both properties offer one of Canada’s premier and most historic golf courses.

You may want to visit them all, just complete our unique “Tour Fitting” form and we will get started planning your trip!

Vancouver and Whistler—Home of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games

The 2010 Winter Olympic Games are coming to Western Canada!  Vancouver will serve as primary host, and Whistler will serve as home to the exciting alpine events with Alpine Skiing, Luge/Bobsled, Cross-Country, Ski Jumping, and Snowboarding among the competitions scheduled.  A visit to the official Olympic welcome centre in Whistler village is a great way to get acquainted with the now-on-the-horizon games that promise to be the most memorable ever staged.  “Find your passion in sport” is the official motto of these Olympics, and you will rekindle your passion for the sport of golf on your visit!

Whistler to Banff—is this the world’s most scenic drive?

For those looking for a longer vacation to Western Canada, Canadian Golf highly recommends taking a couple of days to travel to/from Banff and Whistler along either the Trans-Canada Highway or the fabulous Rocky Mountaineer Train.  For those unfamiliar with what to expect, nothing less than the most beautiful terrain you could ever hope to encounter awaits!  Plus, there are many surprises along the way.  Who knew that British Columbia was home to Canada’s only desert?  You may find temperatures in Kamloops in the 90s Fahrenheit with not a blade of green grass to be found.  Love scenic coastal drives?  Much of the route between Banff and Whistler parallels huge lakes and mountains, as veritable Pacific Coast Highway in the Rockies.  Check out the photos below—for those with some extra time, this would be an unforgettable part of your journey!
